MSU breaks into rankings
EAST LANSING, MI (TheSpread) – After a strong week last week, the Michigan State Spartans find themselves back in the top 25 rankings. See where they landed in the latest poll.
Michigan State had been having a bit of a rough season, hitting a 15-8 record at one point following an embarrassing home loss to a banged-up Illinois team. The Spartans have since won four straight, including a win over that same Illinois team on the road on Sunday. With that, the Spartans have found themselves back in the top 25 rankings at No. 25.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Michigan State is currently listed with 75/1 odds to win the Final Four this season. Kentucky is the favorite with 5/6 odds while Wisconsin has 15/2 odds.
Michigan State is now 19-8 on the season and 10-4 in the Big Ten. The Spartans are three games behind Wisconsin for the top spot but in a three-way tie for second place in the conference. MSU has four games left in the regular season, including a home game on Thursday vs. Minnesota and a road game on Sunday at Wisconsin.
