Michigan State Spartans DFS Snapshot
Max Christie amassed 16 points (4-6 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Thursday’s 76-72 win over Maryland. Christie has been an inconsistent contributor recently, but he was a strong factor in Thursday’s narrow win to begin the Big Ten Tournament. He’s scored in double figures in three of his last eight appearances and has averaged 8.8 points and 3.6 rebounds in 30.8 minutes per game across that span.
Wisconsin Badgers DFS Snapshot
Johnny Davis said Tuesday that he’s recovered from the sprained right ankle he sustained in Sunday’s loss to Nebraska and will be available for the Big Ten tournament this week, Jeff Goodman of WatchStadium.com reports. The newly crowned Big Ten Player of the Year will hope to lead to the Badgers into the NCAA tournament with a little momentum after Wisconsin was unable to capture sole possession of the conference title following its loss to Nebraska. While it’s possible that Davis may still be feeling some residual effects of the injury in his return to action, even a compromised version of the 6-foot-5 sophomore would be a welcome addition for the Badgers after he finished the regular season with averages of 20.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.6 blocks in 33.9 minutes per game. Wisconsin is set to open conference tournament play in the quarterfinal round Friday, when the team plays the winner of Thursday’s Michigan State-Maryland matchup.
