Who We Like: The narrative surrounding this game is that the Wolverines will come in content and possibly overconfident after winning four straight games. But I’m not buying it. Michigan has won six of its last seven games and is coming off an impressive 72-63 victory against Penn State on Wednesday. This team isn’t fat and happy, it’s playing great ball heading into the Big Ten Tournament and I like laying only a single point against a Maryland team that is on the bubble for the NCAA tournament.
The Wolverines are 7-2 against the spread in their last nine road games and are 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall. They’ve been great in conference play as well, posting a 20-8-1 ATS record against Big Ten foes.
