Michigan Wolverines DFS Spin
Hunter Dickinson finished Monday’s 75-56 victory over Purdue Fort Wayne with 22 points (9-11 FG, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal over 27 minutes. Dickinson is off to an exceptional start with a double-double, a perfect record from the free-throw line and a high efficiency rate from the field. As he approaches conference play, Dickinson will look to improve further and justify his choice to develop his game for another year before declaring for the NBA draft.
Pittsburgh Panthers DFS Spin
Pittsburgh head coach Jeff Capel said Monday that John Hugley (knee) could make his return to the lineup as soon as Wednesday’s game against Michigan at the Legends Classic in Brooklyn, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. “John has practiced,” Capel said. “We’ll see how he responds and that will determine if he’ll be able to play on Wednesday. It’s looking like he will, but obviously we have another day of preparation to find out.” The Panthers’ leading scorer and rebounder in 2021-22 with averages of 14.8 points and 7.9 boards per game, respectively, Hugley looks on track to make his season debut after missing the first two games of the campaign while recovering from a left knee injury suffered during a Sept. 30 practice. Capel acknowledged that the 6-foot-9 center still needs some time to play at his full capability, so Hugley’s minutes and output could be limited to some degree if he suits up Wednesday. In any case, Hugley’s return will likely result in Fede Federiko, Guillermo Diaz Graham and Jorge Diaz Graham seeing lesser roles in the frontcourt.
