UNC National Championship Betting Trends
North Carolina will head into tonight’s National Championship game as a slight favorite over Villanova and has been on a great ATS run.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv currently list the Tar Heels as 2.5-point favorites versus the Wildcats while the over/under for tonight’s 9:19PM ET tip-off is sitting at 149.5 (down from 151 points).
Bet Tonight’s National Championship Game
The Tar Heels are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four NCAA Tournament games after failing to cover versus Florida Gulf Coast in the first round. Following their 83-67 win over FGCU as a 22.5-point favorite, UNC beat Providence 85-66 and covered as an 11-point favorite in the second round.

From there, the Tar Heels beat Indiana 101-86 as a 5-point favorite in the Sweet 16 before advancing to defeat Notre Dame 88-74 as a 9.5-point favorite in the Elite Eight. In their Final Four matchup with Syracuse, UNC crushed the Orange 83-66 as a 10-point favorite.
The Tar Heels are also 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games when they covered in their last contest and they’re 16-5-1 at the betting window in their last 22 games played at neutral sites. For some reason they haven’t covered on Monday nights, going 2-6-2 ATS in their last 10 games played on this day, but they’re otherwise flawless at the betting window.
