Who We Like: Xavier is a top seed for a reason, but there is something about the Musketeers that leave us a bit concerned. They come into the tournament just 2-4 against the spread in their last six and haven’t covered a double-digit spread since Jan. 9. They face a Texas Southern team that has covered the spread in four straight and is coming off a pretty impressive 64-46 domination of North Carolina Central in the First Four. While we aren’t calling for Texas Southern to win this game, the Tigers seem like a team that can make this interesting. Texas Southern is 7-1 against the spread in its eight lined games this season and I will take my chances on them covering in this game as well.
