Who We Like: Buffalo looked incredible on Thursday night, beating Arizona 89-68 as an 8.5-point underdog. Kentucky edged Davidson, 78-73, managing to cover as a 4.5-point favorite. The Bulls are no joke, making their third NCAA Tournament appearance in four years. Their previous two outings were first-round losses, but close games. That experience paid off against Arizona. It could pay off today against Kentucky as well. The Wildcats clearly have the better talent, but they are much younger and have be prone to mistakes. Still, I believe Kentucky has to be perked up by Virginia losing on Friday. This region seems like it may be theirs to lose now. Kentucky hasn’t always been pretty, but it has covered in eight of its last nine. Due to Buffalo’s win over Arizona, the spread here is small and I will take my chances on Kentucky finding a way to cover late in what should be an entertaining game.
NCAA TOURNAMENT PREDICTIONS: KENTUCKY -5.5
