Nebraska vs. Hawaii Public Betting: Bettors Backing Cornhuskers

Our CBB Public Betting Information page indicates that 59% of public bettors are currently backing Nebraska when it comes to the spread. This information is subject to change throughout the day, however, so be sure to check the link so you’re receiving the most up-to-date public betting data.

Ulis doesn’t face Murray State

Ahron Ulis (undisclosed) was out for Nebraska’s matchup against Murray State on Sunday. Ulis will be held out of Sunday’s contest with an undisclosed injury. The senior guard has served in a backup role for the Cornhuskers since transferring in from Iowa in the off-season, averaging 3.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in 15.3 minutes per game through nine contests. His next opportunity to return will come when the Cornhuskers host Southern next Monday.

Christensen continues to lead Hawaii

The Rainbow Warriors have gone 7-1 at home. Hawaii is sixth in the Big West in rebounding averaging 33.4 rebounds. Tanner Christensen leads the Rainbow Warriors with 7.6 boards. Hawaii’s average of 7.3 made 3-pointers per game is 2.5 fewer made shots on average than the 9.8 per game Nebraska gives up. Nebraska has shot at a 46.5% clip from the field this season, 3.4 percentage points higher than the 43.1% shooting opponents of Hawaii have averaged.

Nebraska vs. Hawaii CBB Prediction:

Take the points. Nebraska steamrolled Murray State, jumping out to a massive halftime lead and then popping things into neutral in the second half. But Hawaii will put up a bigger fight. The Rainbow Warriors are holding opponents to just over 30 points per game in the second half of contests this season, so I don’t see the Cornhuskers pulling away in the second frame.

Nebraska vs. Hawaii College Hoops Prediction: Hawaii Rainbow Warriors +9.5
