Kansas Jayhawks DFS Snapshot
Ochai Agbaji finished with 21 points (6-8 FG, 6-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block over 36 minutes during Saturday’s 81-65 victory over Villanova. Agbaji got off to a hot start in this one, as four of his six three-pointers came in the first nine minutes of the contest, allowing Kansas to build an early lead. Villanova did manage to make an adjustment and slow the senior down, but the damage had already been done. Through five NCAA Tournament games, Agbaji has posted averages of 14.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg, but his outside shooting will have to continue if Kansas hopes to secure its first National Championship since 2008 when the Jayhawks take on North Carolina on Monday.
North Carolina Tar Heels DFS Snapshot
Coach Hubert Davis said Armando Bacot (ankle) will practice Sunday and play Monday in the National Championship against Kansas after X-rays came back negative, C.L. Brown of The Raleigh News & Observer reports. Bacot picked up the injury late in Saturday’s semifinal victory over Duke and put up 11 points and 21 rebounds in 33 minutes, and it’s hardly a surprise he’ll be on the court for the title game. The junior big man has averaged 15.4 points, 16.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.6 blocks in 33.4 minutes through five games in the NCAA Tournament.
