North Carolina Player Spotlight
Cole Anthony (knee) has yet to begin practicing, will sit out Saturday and is unlikely to play Monday versus Miami, Jonathan M. Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports. Anthony remains without a specific timetable for return, but the team would certainly love to get him back sooner rather than later as the Tar Heels continue to struggle in ACC play. Assuming he sits out the next two as it appears, Feb. 1 versus Boston College would represent his next chance to suit up.
NC State Player Spotlight
C.J. Bryce will start Saturday against Clemson. Bryce will make his first start since Dec. 19 after being eased in last game coming off a four-game absence due to a concussion. Across 13 appearances this season, the senior is averaging 15.3 points on 53.1 percent shooting to go along with 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.8 steals.

Prediction
The Tar Heels pounded an average Miami team in their last game, which helped them snap an ugly winning streak. That doesn’t mean all is right in Chapel Hill though, and I will be fading UNC tonight. The Tar Heels are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven road games, are 5-13 against the number in their last 18 games overall and are 2-11 at the betting window in their last 13 games as a favorite. The Wolfpack, meanwhile, have covered four of their last five games coming off a loss and are 7-2 at the window in their last nine games coming off an ATS loss.
