Notre Dame without Jackson vs. Syracuse, but covers well on the road

Irish strong ATS on the road

No. 25 Notre Dame will be without Demetrius Jackson tonight, but it still looks to pick up its fifth straight ACC win when it hits the road to face Syracuse at 7PM ET.

The Irish (14-5, 5-2 ACC) have won their last four games in conference play, including a 95-91 win at Duke. However, the team lost Jackson, their leading scorer for an unknown amount of time due to a hamstring injury. Jackson is averaging 16.6 points and 5 assists per game this season, but the Irish have four other players that score in double figures.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Syracuse is favored at home tonight, as the Orange are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Irish. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 141.5 points.

Notre Dame is just 7-9-1 against the spread on the season, but the Irish are 3-1 ATS on the road. The Orange are just 5-6 against the spread and they come into this game at 3-5 in the ACC. Syracuse had a three-game win streak snapped this past week in a 73-65 loss at Virginia. Their last home stand saw the Orange go just 1-2 with losses to Clemson and North Carolina.
