Cochran working out, but no contact

Tyler Cochran (foot) has been working out but has yet to do anything five on five or with contact yet, Ryan James of 247sports.com reports. Cochran has yet to debut for the Gophers this season after undergoing foot surgery in early October. The Toledo transfer was the MAC Defensive Player of the Year last year and was expected to be an instant impact transfer addition. Coach Johnson said he thinks Cochran is likely still week to week in terms of when he could return to contact and said the team will not put him in harm’s way and rush him back from the injury.

Ohio State vs. Minnesota CBB Prediction:

Take Ohio State. The Golden Gophers are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games versus the Buckeyes. That said, I can’t recommend Minnesota in its current form. The Gophers have been dreadful at the betting window. They haven’t covered a spread since November 6 against Oral Roberts. That was their first game of the season. They are 1-11-2 against the spread this season. Horrendous.
