The odds to win the John R. Wooden Award have been updated and Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield is a clear favorite to take home the honors this season.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, Hield currently has -300 odds to win the John R. Wooden Award, which is given annually to the most outstanding player in college basketball. Wisconsin’s Frank Kaminsky took home the honors last year while beating out Duke’s Jahlil Okafor.

LSU’s dynamic talent Ben Simmons has the next best odds to win the John R. Wooden Award at 5/1, while Jarrod Uthoff of Iowa is 10/1. Behind Hield, Simmons and Uthoff, Kris Dunn (Providence) is 18/1, Denzel Valentine (Michigan State) is 20/1, and Grayson Allen (Duke) is 40/1.

Rounding out the rest of the odds are current long-shots Gary Payton II of Oregon State, Kay Felder of Oakland, Melo Trimble of Maryland, Nic Moore of SMU, Perry Ellis of Kansas, and Wayne Selden Jr. of Kansas. All six players are currently 50/1 to win the John R. Wooden Award this season.
