Oklahoma State Cowboys DFS Spin
Kalib Boone totaled three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 FT) over 10 minutes during Saturday’s 100-75 loss to TCU. Boone played a season low in minutes despite committing just three personal fouls in Saturday’s blowout defeat. As a result, the 6-foot-9 senior recorded by far his worst outing of the season, as the Cowboys apparently chose to keep him on the bench once the game got out of reach. Boone has emerged as Oklahoma State’s most productive player since the start of Big 12 play, averaging 14.2 points and 5.5 boards across the last 15 games. Boone also posted a season-high 27 points to go along with nine rebounds during Tuesday’s 87-76 loss to Kansas. He’ll look to notch a much more productive outing during Monday’s road game versus West Virginia.
West Virginia Mountaineers DFS Spin
Tre Mitchell ended Saturday’s 78-72 loss to Texas Tech with three points (1-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt), nine rebounds, two assists and one block in 33 minutes. Mitchell logged almost twice as many rebounds as the Mountaineers’ next-closest player Mohamed Wague, the latter of whom logged five boards in five minutes off the bench. This also marked the starting forward’s second-most rebounds of any game this season. However, this strong showing didn’t help West Virginia from being outrebounded 39-28 during Saturday’s defeat. Mitchell has now averaged 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds while playing 28.7 minutes per game this season.
