Oklahoma Sooners DFS Snapshot
Umoja Gibson provided 29 points (9-14 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 4-5 FT), one rebound, one assist, one block and one steal across 36 minutes during Saturday’s 78-71 win over Kansas State. Gibson has just gone off a few different games this season, while quite a few other nights he has looked somewhat pedestrian. His seven three-pointers made were just one off his season high of eight he posted back on Feb. 9 against Texas Tech. Gibson ends the regular season averaging 12.3 points, 2.5 three-pointers, and 1.4 steals per contest. Oklahoma is currently on the NCAA Tournament bubble, but a win on Thursday against Baylor in the Big 12 Tournament may be enough to lift them over the hump.
Baylor Bears DFS Snapshot
James Akinjo produced 20 points (7-14 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 3-5 FT), four rebounds, six assists and two steals across 38 minutes during Saturday’s 75-68 victory over Iowa State. Akinjo led all scorers in the contest to help Baylor clinch a share of the regular season Big 12 Title with Kansas. Akinjo also locked up First Team All-Big 12 honors after averaging 13.3 points, 5.8 assists, 2.7 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers per contest this season. Akinjo will hope to lead Baylor to its second National Title in a row in a few weeks time. They kickoff the postseason on Thursday against Oklahoma in the Big 12 Tournament.
