Kel’el Ware (coach’s decision) did not suit up in Saturday’s 68-56 victory over Utah, Matt Prehm of 247 Sports reports. No injury is in play here, but it appears coach Dana Altman made the conscious decision to not play the NBA prospect. Instead, Lok Wur saw extra run at the four, and while he didn’t score, he did give Altman four boards and a pair of blocks. Part of the issue here is that Oregon has a bit of a logjam at center, with 6-11 N’Faly Dante (13.0 ppg, 7.8 rpg) and 7-0 Nate Bittle (6.7 ppg, 4.9 rpg) taking up most of the minutes. That’s left Ware, a 7-1 freshman, to be forced to play more power forward. It’s a skillset that will undoubtedly be useful for his future development, but with Oregon having an opportunity to climb within 1.5 games of the Pac-12 lead, Altman simply selected to go with the safer and more experienced option off the bench.

Henderson Jr. finished with nine points and eight rebounds during Saturday’s win over Washington. The 6-foot-6 senior has started in Arizona’s last four games, winning the starting spot over Pelle Larsson. Henderson Jr. has appeared in all 22 games this season, logging 6.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and one assist on 20.6 minutes per game.
