Thursday’s Pac-12 Predictions
The Pac-12 has a full slate of games set to take place on Thursday night. Here’s three predictions for the night’s action.
No. 14 Arizona at Oregon State, 9PM ET (FS1)
According to oddsmakers at YouWager, Arizona is favored on the road, as the Wildcats are getting odds of -5.5 points against Oregon State tonight. The Wildcats earned a 9-point win at home over the Beavers on Jan. 11. They also have managed a winning record at the betting window while on the road (5-4). Oregon State has struggled to cover anywhere, going just 9-17 ATS this season. That includes a 5-9 record at home. The Beavers have failed to cover in seven of their last eight and I think Arizona hands them another loss tonight. PAC-12 PREDICTIONS: ARIZONA -5.5
Bet on Arizona vs. Oregon State
UCLA at Utah, 9PM ET (ESPN)
Oddsmakers see this game being pretty close, with Utah being just a 3-point favorite at home against the Bruins. Utah has been tough at home, going 11-2 overall and 7-2 against the spread. UCLA hasn’t been good on the road, going 2-5 overall and 3-4 ATS. While the Bruins did dominate the Utes at home on Jan. 11, UCLA is giving up 85 points per game on the road. Utah is much better defensively, allowing just 64.5 per game at home. The Utes also put up 80 points per game on offense at home. Their balance of offense and defense should be able to keep UCLA in check. PAC-12 PREDICTIONS: UTAH -3
Arizona State at Oregon, 11:30PM ET (FS1)
Oddsmakers have Oregon as the favorite at home, as the Ducks are getting odds of -3.5 points against Arizona State. Oregon already picked up a 76-72 win at Arizona State on Jan. 11. The Ducks have won seven straight in this series and have covered in four of the last five meetings. ASU hasn’t been consistent in Pac-12 play and the Sun Devils are just 2-4 against the spread on the road. They really struggle defensively on the road, allowing 80.1 per game. That will be a problem against this Oregon offense, which averages 82.6 per game at home. I like the Ducks to grab another win over ASU. PAC-12 PREDICTIONS: OREGON -3.5
