According to oddsmakers at RealBets, Miami is favored in this game, as the Hurricanes are getting odds of -8.5 points against Pittsburgh. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 142.5 points.
Pittsburgh (17-5, 6-4 ACC) is coming off a loss at home to Virginia last weekend for their third loss in five games, but the Panthers have always bounced back well from a loss, going 4-0 straight up and 4-0 against the spread. One of the covers came in a road game.
Miami (18-4, 7-3 ACC) has won its last two games and five of its last six, with the lone loss coming at N.C. State. The Hurricanes are 11-1 at home and 13-7-1 against the spread this season, but they have failed to cover the spread in their last two games with a spread over 5 points.
