San Diego Toreros DFS Spin
Sigu Sisoho Jawara (undisclosed) did not take the court in Saturday’s 99-94 loss to Pacific. While the fourth-year guard had recently lost his spot in the starting five, he had still logged a combined 49 minutes off the bench in his last two games, so it seems highly unlikely he would have just fallen out of the rotation. He’s currently fourth on the team in scoring at 11.3 ppg and second in three-pointers made (38), so any prospective absence would surely be felt. His next chance to suit up will be Thursday against Saint Mary’s, but if he has to sit, Jase Townsend and Nic Lynch, to a lesser extend, could be called upon to take on more minutes.
Gonzaga Bulldogs DFS Spin
Efton Reid won’t play Saturday against Pepperdine, Theo Lawson of The Spokane Spokesman-Review reports. Reid exited Thursday’s win over Loyola Marymount with an apparent lower body injury after a hard fall, and given the quick turnaround, his absence shouldn’t be a surprise. Reid’s next chance to play will come Thursday against San Diego.
