SEMO Redhawks DFS Spin

Chris Harris registered 26 points (7-19 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 11-13 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one block in 41 minutes during Saturday’s 89-82 OT win over Tennessee Tech. Harris is the second-leading scorer for the Redhawks and has started all but three games this season, but has really picked things up of late. Over his last seven games, the senior guard is posting 22.2 points and 5.9 rebounds across 37.0 minutes. He’ll have to continue this pace if SEMO hopes to secure a first-round upset in the NCAA Tournament after clinching an automatic bid with an OVC Championship.

Texas A&M-CC Islanders DFS Spin

Terrion Murdix (knee) will miss the remainder of the season, coach Steve Lutz told radio host James Espinosa of 1440 KEYS-AM. It’s an incredibly tough break for both the senior guard and the Islanders, as Murdix was the primary ball-handler and third-leading scorer at 13.4 ppg, in addition to earning Southland Defensive Player of the Year honors. Murdix suffered the injury just two minutes into the Southland conference championship game, according to Bill Welt of the State Journal-Register. The Islanders rallied behind him to punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament, and Murdix joined in the celebration afterwards sporting a pair of crutches, but he won’t be joining them on the court for Tuesday’s play-in game against Southeast Missouri State.
