St. John’s
The season series was split with each team winning on their home court. The Red Storm lost 86-54 in their Big East quarterfinals game last year versus Marquette.
Creighton
The only straight up loss for the Bluejays in their last eight games came against St. John’s. Creighton lost 63-61 to Xavier in the tournament quarterfinals last year.
Prediction:
The Bluejays have the fresher legs and this line has not been released yet at many sportsbooks as of this writing. It could very well be wider when it does open at more books. Creighton has been in great form the last few weeks and while the Red Storm are the last team to have their number, it is the Bluejays that is the more consistent team and I’d rather trust them to put together a strong performance this afternoon.
