White contributes 14 points in win
Trazarien White logged 14 points (4-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and four rebounds in 35 minutes during Saturday’s 63-62 win over Kansas State. White went 3-for-4 from beyond the arc on his way to a 14-point performance during Saturday’s victory. It was the ninth time in 13 games this season White has reached double figures in scoring and the most he’s scored since mid-November.
Uzan commanding UH offense
Milos Uzan logged seven points (2-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and two steals over 31 minutes during Saturday’s 86-55 win over BYU. Uzan struggled from the field, connecting on just two of nine shots, but added eight helpers and two steals during Saturday’s win. The junior point guard has been a perfect fit during his first season with the Cougars thanks to his ball-handling skills in replacing All-American guard Jamal Shead. Uzan is averaging 8.9 points and 5.2 assists but more impressive has been his ball skills, committing one or fewer turnovers in each of his last six games while committing more than two turnovers just twice all season.
