TCU Horned Frogs DFS Spin
Eddie Lampkin finished with 15 points (7-10 FG, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Wednesday’s 88-87 win over Baylor. Lampkin fell just short of his second double-double of the season as he once again led the Horned Frogs in rebounds Wednesday. The 6-foot-11 sophomore also took his second-most field-goal attempts in a game this season during this back-and-forth affair. Over 13 games, Lampkin has averaged 7.6 points and 7.5 rebounds, making him TCU’s most likely candidate to notch subsequent double-doubles moving forward.
Texas Longhorns DFS Spin
Timmy Allen ended with 11 points (3-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists and three steals over 30 minutes during Saturday’s 56-46 win over Oklahoma State. Allen logged double-digit points for the sixth time in the last seven games, as he got the charity stripe for a season high in free-throw attempts. The senior forward also posted his most steals in a game this season during this defensive showdown. Through 15 games, Allen has played a career-low 25.7 minutes per game while sharing the frontcourt with senior center Dylan Disu (16.4) and ascending true freshman Dillon Mitchell (22.0). However, Allen’s still first among this trio in points per game (10.1), and he should continue to serve as the Longhorns’ third-leading scorer behind trio Marcus Carr (17.7) and Tyrese Hunter (11.6).
