JaKobe Coles chipped in 12 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and two steals in 17 minutes during Monday’s 63-58 loss to Kansas. Coles logged double-digit points for the sixth time in the last eight games. The 6-foot-7 sophomore’s playing time has taken a step over the past two games with 6-foot-11 center Eddie Lampkin back in the starting lineup. Therefore, it’s likely Coles will see fewer than 20 minutes per game moving forward.
Texas Tech Red Raiders DFS Spin
Daniel Batcho (foot) did not play in Tuesday’s 74-63 win over Oklahoma. Batcho hasn’t suited up for any of the Red Raiders’ previous four games due to a lower-body injury, though, head coach Mark Adams said Monday that he expects the 6-foot-11 forward to be back playing within the next week, Carlos Silva Jr. of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reports. His next opportunity to take the hardwood now comes Saturday versus TCU.
