Texas A&M Game Notes
Aggies guard Tyrece Radford is the team’s second-leading scorer. Radford is posting 13.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for Texas A&M this season. The Virginia Tech transfer has scored at least 10 points in 14 of his last 15 games and he’s averaging 13.5 points per game so far in the SEC Tournament. He could be the X-factor for Texas A&M on Sunday.
The Aggies’ leading rebounder is junior forward Henry Coleman III. Coleman is grabbing 5.7 rebounds per contest this season. He’s also third on the club in scoring with 9.6 points per game. Coleman and fellow forward Julius Marble will be key Sunday against Alabama’s skilled frontcourt.
Alabama Game Notes
Alabama forward Noah Clowney is one of the team’s most important players. Clowney is tied for the team lead in rebounding with 8.1 boards per game and ranks third on the club in scoring with 9.9 points per game. He was huge in Alabama’s semifinal win over Missouri on Saturday night, pouring in 19 points on 7 of 11 shooting. Clowney and Alabama star forward Brandon Miller will likely have a big impact on this game.

Texas A&M vs. Alabama CBB Prediction:
These two teams played each other on March 4th in College Station, Texas. Texas A&M won that game 67-61 largely by forcing Alabama to commit 18 turnovers. The Aggies only shot 25% from three-point range in that game and still won rather comfortably. I think Texas A&M is playing their best basketball right now. They had some early season hiccups against Murray State, Colorado, and Wofford, but the Aggies have gone 10-1 since February 4th. In that stretch, they beat Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri, Auburn, Vanderbilt, and Arkansas twice. I think Texas A&M is battle-tested and they’ll have the in-game coaching advantage on Sunday. I’ll take the Aggies and the points in Nashville.
