The Aggies lost their lead in the SEC by losing three of four and suffering their first home loss on Saturday when they fell 81-78 to then-No. 25 South Carolina. A&M’s other two league losses both came on the road to Arkansas and Vanderbilt, two teams that are hardly SEC juggernauts this season.

Fading the Aggies on the road has proven to be profitable for bettors. A&M is 1-4-1 against the spread in its last six road games and is now winless at 0-4 against the number in its last four conference games as well.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Aggies are 5.5-point road favorites versus the Crimson Tide tonight after A&M opened at -4.5. As for the total, the number opened at 134 and that’s where it currently sits.
