Radford Logs 18 Points in Win

Tyrece Radford closed Thursday’s 80-71 victory over Ole Miss with 18 points (4-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-10 FT), nine rebounds and three assists in 36 minutes. The 6-foot-3 guard was phenomenal during Texas A&M’s first round matchup in the SEC Tournament as he scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds during Thursday’s win over Ole Miss. Radford has been one of the league’s best guards and will look to continue to be the team’s primary scorer for quarterfinal game against Kentucky.

Rice Available for Nebraska

Eli Rice (ankle) is available for Friday’s first round matchup against Texas A&M, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports. The NCAA Tournament came at a perfect time for Rice as he appears set to make his return for the Huskers after missing the team’s previous 12 games with an ankle injury. The freshman forward averaged 4.2 points in 9.9 minutes per game this season and will hope to make an impact in Nebraska’s first NCAA Tournament appearance in a decade.
