Red Raiders clamp down on Wolverines
Texas Tech left Michigan in the dust Thursday night in the Sweet 16 as it raced to a 63-44 victory. The Red Raiders (29-6) led 24-16 at halftime and widened the lead after the break. Texas Tech shot 24-of-55 from the floor, 6-of-19 from 3-point range plus 9-of-10 at the free throw line. Jarrett Culver paced the Red Raiders with 22 points on 9-of-19 shooting plus 4-of-4 at the free throw line. He also contributed four rebounds, four assists and three steals. Davide Moretti accounted for 15 points and four assists. Matt Mooney added 10 points, three caroms, two assists and two steals.

College Basketball Betting Trends
Texas Tech
The Red Raiders are 5-0 ATS in their last five Saturday games. Texas Tech is 6-1 ATS in its last seven games overall.
Gonzaga
The Bulldogs are 6-1 ATS in their last seven non-conference games. Gonzaga is 9-4-1 ATS in its last 14 games versus the Big 12.
Prediction:
Texas Tech forced Michigan to go 1-of-19 from 3-point range and look miserable all around for the better part of 40 minutes. Gonzaga provides an even steeper test tonight, but the Bulldogs are also not quite as good defensively as the Wolverines were and the Red Raiders performed admirably on offense Thursday night to pull away in the second half. I think the Red Raiders are playing as well as anyone in the tournament right now and their defense will frustrate even the best offense in the nation, which happens to provide to Gonzaga. Look for this one to come down to the wire and Texas Tech stay within the number.
