College Basketball Betting Trends
Texas Tech
The Red Raiders are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games overall. Texas Tech is 4-0 ATS in its last four games versus the Big Ten.
Michigan
The Wolverines are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. Michigan is 9-3 ATS in its last 12 games versus the Big 12.
Prediction:
Texas Tech is ranked first nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency, while Michigan is ranked second. Points will be hard to come by and in a neutral setting, I have to side with the better team on the offensive side of the ball. That is the Wolverines, who have improved offensively as the season has progressed and are ranked 19th in adjusted offensive efficiency as opposed to 35th for the Red Raiders. Michigan takes care of the basketball as well as anyone in the nation and I think it finds a way to carve out the victory tonight.
