Texas Longhorns DFS Spin
Christian Bishop supplied 14 points (6-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, two blocks and two steals in 26 minutes during Saturday’s 69-66 victory over Kansas State. Bishop tied for team highs in points, steals and blocks in this tight win for Texas. The senior forward also logged the Longhorns’ second-most rebounds behind fellow reserve Sir’Jabari Rice, whom also matched him for a team high in points. This was also Bishop’s longest playing time of any game this season, as starting forward Dylan Disu only played 11 minutes. Expect Bishop to continue providing solid, albeit moderate, statistical contributions behind Disu and Timmy Allen moving forward.
Kansas Jayhawks DFS Spin
M.J. Rice (back) finished Saturday’s 68-53 loss to Iowa State with one rebound over four minutes. Fortunately for Rice, he did not have to log multiple absences because of his previous injury. However, he is not expected to play much even while the Jayhawks have more than five of their players out injured at the moment. Rice averaged 4.0 minutes across his four games in between Jan. 20 and Feb. 5.
