Texas vs. Purdue Prediction
Texas snapped out of its funk at the right time, hammering upset-minded Virginia Tech in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday. Will the Longhorns have the same success in the second round, only this time as slight underdogs against Purdue at 8:40 p.m. ET on Sunday?

March Madness Betting Prediction
Despite covering in their respective opening round matchups, both of these teams have largely stunk against the spread recently. Friday was the first time Purdue covered in its last 11 games and Texas is just 1-6 against the number in its last seven games overall. Thus, I don’t trust either to cover the number.
Instead, I’m taking the under, which is 5-0 in the Longhorns’ last five neutral site games when listed as an underdog and 6-2 in their last eight neutral site games overall. The under is also 6-1 in the Boilermakers’ last seven games, is 5-1 in their last six games when facing an opponent with a winning percentage above .600 and is 5-2 in their last seven games coming off a win.
MARCH MADNESS BETTING PREDICTION: TEXAS/PURDUE UNDER 134.5
