UCLA vs. Arizona College Basketball Predictions Against The Spread 2/8/18

UCLA vs. Arizona Pick

Can No. 13 Arizona pick up a big win over one of its rivals when the Wildcats host UCLA tonight at 10PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at YouWager, Arizona is favored at home, as the Wildcats are getting odds of -9 points against UCLA. The over/under total for the game is listed at 158 points. Tonight’s contest takes place from the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona and will air live on ESPN.

Arizona had a seven-game win streak snapped last weekend in a 78-75 loss at Washington. Arizona is now 19-5 overall, 9-2 in the Pac-12 and 8-14-2 against the spread. The Cats are averaging 82.2 points per game this season while allowing 71.8 per contest. Allonzo Trier is averaging 19.9 points per game to lead Arizona this season while Deandre Ayton is adding 19.7 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.

UCLA has won three straight, all at home, coming into tonight’s contest. The Burins are now 16-7 overall, 7-4 in the Pac-12 and 11-12 against the spread. UCLA is scoring 82.9 points per game this season while allowing 75.8 per game. Aaron Holiday is averaging 19.2 points and 5.4 assists per game to lead UCLA this season while Thomas Welsh is adding 13 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.

Bet on UCLA vs. Arizona

Arizona has won three of its last four meetings with UCLA but the two have yet to meet this season. UCLA has covered in six of the last eight in this series. Arizona is the better team here, but the Wildcats haven’t been covering, even at home. Zona has failed to cover in four straight at home and they were a favorite of at least 9 points in all of them. I think UCLA will do enough to keep this game competitive. The public betting is backing UCLA and I like the Bruins getting so many points against a team struggling to cover.

CBB DAILY PREDICTION: UCLA +9
