Caleb Love contributed 28 points (11-20 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and one assist over 40 minutes during Saturday’s 81-77 win over Duke. Love got out to a cold start from a shooting standpoint, but it didn’t phase the sophomore guard one bit. His offensive prowess allowed UNC to take the lead in the second half, and a huge three-pointer with 25 seconds on the clock ultimately resulted in an insurmountable lead (which was secured with his free throw shooting down the stretch). This effort, combined with a 30-point game in the Sweet Sixteen against UCLA, brings Love’s five-game tournament scoring average up to 20.0 ppg (on 42.7 percent shooting). He and the Tar Heels now have a shot at a National Title, but will open as underdogs for Monday’s championship game against Kansas.
Kansas Jayhawks DFS Snapshot
David McCormack ended with 25 points (10-12 FG, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal over 29 minutes during Saturday’s 81-65 win over Villanova. McCormack picked the perfect day to post a new season-high scoring total, with his 25 points being the highest single-game total since his sophomore year. He also recorded the best rebounding total of his five tournament games so far in 2022. McCormack managed this effort despite picking up his second foul with six minutes remaining in the first half and having to sit out the rest of the period. He managed to go the rest of the way without a single whistle, taking advantage of Villanova’s lack of size and strength in the interior. Another massive test awaits in Monday’s National Championship game, as McCormack will be tasked with keeping UNC’s Armando Bacot (16.3 ppg, 13.1 rpg) in check.

The over is 5-1 in the Tar Heels’ last six neutral site games as an underdog, is 4-1 in their last five NCAA Tournament games as an underdog and is 6-2 in their last eight games as an underdog overall.
