Vanderbilt duo transferring
NASHVILLE, TN (TheSpread) – Vanderbilt announced that it won’t allow a pair of guards to rejoin the team, so both will be transferring from the school.
Commodores coach Kevin Stallings announced that Kedren Johnson and Dai-Jon Parker won’t be allowed to return due to the pair not meeting standards that are expected of his players.
Johnson was suspended for all of the 2013-14 season for violating university policy. He had averaged 8 points and 2.7 assists per game over two years with the program. Parker averaged 5.4 points and 3.1 rebounds over three seasons with the team.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Vanderbilt has been given 300/1 odds to win the NCAA Tournament next season. Oddsmakers see Kentucky as the favorite with 4/1 odds while Arizona now comes in with 9/1 odds.
