Nick Kern contributed nine points (4-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one rebound and three assists across 18 minutes during Sunday’s 68-56 win over Dayton. Kern had a solid day at the office, nearly doubling his season average of 5.2 points a game. The sophomore guard only logged 18 minutes, but that could be due to fatigue, as he played 26 and 24 minutes this past Saturday and Thursday, respectively. The Missouri native will now have a few days to rest up before the Rams take on their next opponent in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
