Virginia Tech Hokies DFS Snapshot
Hunter Cattoor amassed 31 points (11-16 FG, 7-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three steals over 31 minutes during Saturday’s 82-67 win over Duke. While there’s an argument to say Keve Aluma was the best all-around player for Virginia Tech on Saturday, Cattoor certainly made his presence felt on offense and carried the team to victory. He was particularly lights out from beyond the arc, banking deep threes and missing just two of his nine long-range attempts. Cattoor should play a huge role on offense for the Hokies in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
Texas Longhorns DFS Snapshot
Timmy Allen totaled 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and three steals across 36 minutes during Thursday’s 65-60 loss to TCU. Allen led the scoring charge once again for the Longhorns. Unfortunately it was not enough to hold onto an 18-point halftime lead. Allen and the rest of his teammates will have some time to reflect and try to be better in the NCAA Tournament.
