Washington Huskies Game Notes

Huskies guard Tyler Harris was solid in his team’s 88-54 loss to Michigan State on Thursday night. The Portland transfer put up 14 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 blocked shot, and 1 made three-pointer. Harris shot 5 of 10 from the field and 3 of 4 from the foul line in the loss.

Washington guard Zoom Diallo also played well on Thursday. The 6’4” freshman recorded 8 points, 2 rebounds, and an assist in 16 minutes of playing time. Diallo is third on the team in scoring with 10.8 points per game this year.

Michigan Wolverines Game Notes

Wolverines center Vladislav Goldin was otherworldly in his team’s 94-75 win over UCLA on Tuesday. The 7’1” senior from Nalchick, Russia registered 36 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and a blocked shot. Goldin shot 13 of 18 from the field and 9 of 11 from the charity stripe in the victory.

Michigan guard Nimari Burnett also made an impact on Tuesday. The senior from Chicago accumulated 17 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 3 made three-pointers in 37 minutes of game action. Burnett is fifth on the team in scoring with 10.5 points per game this season.

Washington is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

The Huskies are 4-2 ATS as an underdog this season.

Michigan is 12-15 ATS as a favorite since the start of last season.

Michigan is 9-10 ATS after a win since the beginning of last season.

Washington vs. Michigan CBB Prediction:

I like Washington in this contest. A plethora of numbers bolster the case for the Huskies. Washington is 12-6 ATS after a loss and 7-3 ATS as a road underdog since the start of last season. Furthermore, the Huskies are 5-4 ATS with the rest disadvantage and 14-12 ATS in conference games since the beginning of last season.

And finally, Washington is 5-2 ATS against ranked opponents and 25-21 ATS in regular season games since the inception of the 2023 campaign. This line is likely inflated due to Michigan’s 94-75 win over UCLA on Tuesday and Washington’s 88-54 loss to Michigan State on Thursday. I think this game will be much closer than both of those contests. I’m backing the Huskies and the points in Ann Arbor on Sunday afternoon.

Washington vs. Michigan CBB Prediction: WASHINGTON HUSKIES +14.5
