According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Aggies are 3.5-point road favorites tonight versus the Razorbacks at 7:00PM ET. Texas A&M is seeking its longest conference winning streak in 36 years and enters play with a 17-2 overall record.
Arkansas, meanwhile, is just 9-10 on the season and has lost three straight games, including an 80-66 loss to Kentucky in its last home game. But A&M plays No. 14 Iowa State on Saturday in the Big 12/SEC Challenge that will be aired on ESPN.
“Going into Fayetteville — in my mind the toughest place to play — is the most important game for us this week,” said A&M coach Billy Kennedy. “Not that the Iowa State (game) isn’t a big deal, but conference games are big with us right now and we’ll put a lot of emphasis on trying to beat a good Arkansas team.”
The Aggies have lost in both visits to Bud Walton Arena since joining the SEC and the Razorbacks are 4-2 against the spread at home this season, winning by an average margin of 13.6 points. Bettors beware of laying only the 3.5 points tonight on A&M.
