North Carolina was the top seed in the South Region and escaped with a buzzer-beater win over Kentucky in the Elite 8. Oregon saved its best performance of the tournament for Kansas and managed to get a cold Jayhawks’ team. The Ducks still had close calls with Michigan and Rhode Island and I don’t think we can expect them to light up North Carolina, as the Tar Heels should be much better offensively than what Kansas was in the Elite 8. The Tar Heels have been susceptible defensively, but I think their offense and depth will be too much for this Oregon team tonight.
