Bo Ryan leaves Wisconsin
The WisconsinBadgers were expecting to have Bo Ryan for one more season, but the veteran coach decided to retire on Tuesday night.

Ryan already indicated that he was going to retire following the 2015-16 season, but he changed his tune on Tuesday night, electing to step down immediately, putting assistant Greg Gard in the interim coaching position.
“After months of conversation with Barry Alvarez and his administrative staff, as well as my wife, Kelly, I have decided that now is the right time to step down from the head coaching position here at Wisconsin,” Ryan said in a statement released after his team’s win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
According to oddsmakers from oddsmakers at BetDSI, Wisconsin is currently a 300/1 longshot to win the national championship this season, only a year removed from playing in the national championship game.
Ryan has 747 wins in his coaching career and he was with Wisconsin since 2001, where he coached the Badgers to 364 victories. He led Wisconsin to an NCAA Tournament appearance in every one of his 14 years with the program. Wisconsin won four Big Ten titles in that time. Wisconsin is currently 7-5 on the season with losses to the likes of Marquette, Milwaukee, Oklahoma, Georgetown and Western Illinois.
