Xavier vs. UConn CBB Prediction:

UConn has been one of the best teams in the country against the number over the past few seasons. Huskies head coach Dan Hurley is one of the best in the sport and is coming off of back-to-back national championships. Some stats really make a strong case for UConn. The Huskies are 32-10 ATS when playing an opponent on equal rest since the start of the 2022 season. That’s the best mark in the country over that stretch.

Furthermore, UConn is 26-19 ATS in conference games and 30-18-2 ATS when playing on 2 or 3 days of rest since the beginning of the 2022 season. This line might seem a bit high, but the last two times these two teams have played each other, the Huskies have won in blowout fashion. UConn defeated Xavier 87-60 last March in the Big East Tournament. Earlier that season, the Huskies crushed the Musketeers 99-56 in Hartford. I still think UConn is one of the premier teams in the nation, which is why I’ll be laying the points with the Huskies on Wednesday night.
