Gordon leaves game against Tennessee State after hard fall

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) -Indiana freshman Eric Gordon went to the bench after a hard fall in the first half of the 15th-ranked Hoosiers’ game against Tennessee State on Monday night.
Gordon, who entered second in the nation in scoring at 26.6 points, was knocked to the floor as he passed the ball to teammate D.J. White with just over 6 minutes remaining in the period.
He remained in the game briefly, but was limping as play resumed and left shortly after that, holding his left hip.
Gordon, who had eight points, did not return to the sideline for the start of the second half.
