WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) -Todd Hendley scored 20 points, and North Carolina-Wilmington secured the No. 2 seed in the Colonial Athletic Association tournament with a 72-64 victory over Old Dominion on Saturday.
The Seahawks (19-12, 12-6 Colonial Athletic Association) snapped a two-game losing streak. They were tied with George Mason for the second spot, but claimed the position because they swept the regular season series.

Josh Sheets hit both ends of a one-and-one to increase the edge to 56-38 with 9:29 to play, but Old Dominion (17-14, 11-7) rallied with a 10-point spurt. A layup by Jonathan Adams reduced the lead to 56-48 with 6:18 left.
Chad Tomko hit a 3-pointer in front of the Seahawk bench as the shot clock was winding down, then added a transition layup with 3:16 to play, leading UNC-Wilmington to its first season sweep of Old Dominion since the 2001-02 season.
T.J. Carter had 17 points and Tomko scored 15. Vladimir Kuljanin grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
