High Point holds off NAIA Johnson & Wales 75-65

Eugene Harris added 16 points and Mike Jefferson added 15 points and 10 assists for the Panthers (3-4), who bounced back from a loss at Dayton to win their sixth straight game at home.
Wales (5-6), which competes in Division II of the NAIA. Leading scorer George Boines, who entered averaging 18.8 points, was held to three.
High Point led by as many as 22, shot 48 percent and outrebounded the Wildcats 42-24.
Wales coach David Graham and High Point coach Bart Lundy were teammates at North Carolina-Pembroke.
