CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) -Miami’s Adrian Thomas will miss the rest of the season after he tore a ligament in his left knee during practice.
Four games into the season, the redshirt sophomore was averaging 4.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 13.3 minutes. He scored a career-high 13 points and tied his career-high with four rebounds in the Hurricanes’ season-opening win over Florida Southern.
Thomas was shooting 58.3 percent from the floor, 44.4 percent on 3-pointers.
Thomas suffered a season-ending abdominal injury last year, also just four games into the season.
