NEW ALBANY, Ind. (AP) – Former Louisville basketball player Wiley Brown took the Indiana University Southeast coaching job Friday.
Brown was a starting forward on Louisville’s 1980 national championship team and the school’s 1982 Final Four team. He has worked with for the Louisville athletic department since 1992, most recently as the director of community enrichment.
Brown succeeds Walt Corbean, who left IU Southeast in August to become director of basketball operations at Wake Forest.
IU Southeast competes in NAIA Division II. It was 22-10 last season.
