KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) -Ronell Wooten scored 20 points and Shuan Stegall added 18 points and 12 rebounds to spark Kennesaw State to a 75-60 Atlantic Sun Conference victory over Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday night.
Wooten and Stegall celebrated Senior Night with their performances in their final home game with the Owls (8-19, 5-8).
Casey Wohlleb led the Eagles (9-18, 5-8) with 20 points and Landon Adle added 11. Wohlleb’s 20 lifted his career total to 1,016, becoming only the second player in school history to top the 1,000 mark.
FGSU built a 13-6 lead in the first 9:30 before Kennesaw State went on an 18-3 run to take control, building a 42-26 lead at the half.
Kelvin McConnell added 13 points and J.D. POllock 10 for the Owls, who built a 22-point lead in the second half and coasted to the victory.
