Wyoming vs. TCU Free Pick
Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas will play host to No. 5 TCU and Wyoming this weekend at 3:30PM ET. Read on to check out our prediction for this Saturday’s game.
Before we make a prediction for this Week 6 matchup, let’s take a look at the current point spread.
Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com have made TCU a 34-point favorite over Wyoming in Week 6. The over/under total for this game has been set at 49.5 points.
The Horned Frogs are a perfect 5-0 on the year, but they’ve only covered twice in those five games. That said, they are 2-0 at home this year and have covered both times.
The Cowboys are 2-3 straight up this season and 3-2 against the spread. They’re 1-1 on the road, but have covered in both games. When these two teams met last year, TCU crushed Wyoming 45-10 and racked up 523 total yards of offense, including a whopping 355 rushing yards.
The Prediction:
The favorite is 3-0-1 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams, while Wyoming is 0-4-1 against the number in its last five games against TCU. While 34 points is certainly a lot to lay with any team, TCU is 7-2 against the spread versus a team with a losing record and 15-5 ATS in their last 20 games as a home favorite of 10.5-points or more. My prediction is that the Horned Frogs will come out of the gates slow, but their defense will hold the Cowboys until their offense can open things up and pull away in the second half.
