College Football Free Pick: Take the Hokies. While Clemson did pick up a 23-3 victory over Virginia Tech earlier this season, this is a much different Tiger team now than the one that took the field back on October 1. The Hokies haven’t lost since that day while the Tigers have lost three of their last four, including an ugly 34-13 loss to South Carolina last Saturday night. According to latest college football trends, Virginia Tech is 5-1 against the spread in its last six games against Clemson, which is 0-4 ATS in its last four games and 1-6 ATS in its last seven neutral site games. Virginia Tech still has an outside shot at the national championship so expect Frank Beamer’s squad to be hungry and motivated come 8:00PM ET tonight.
