Baylor is seventh in the nation in scoring at 43.5 points per game and fifth in the country in passing at 356.2 yards per game. Griffin III won the Heisman after throwing for 3,998 yards and 36 TD’s while rushing for 644 yards with 9 TD’s. One weak point is the defense, which is giving up an average of 35.7 points per game, which ranks 109th nationally.
Washington went 5-4 in the Pac-12 this year and ended the season by losing three of their last four games. The Huskies are scoring 31.5 points per game on offense this season but giving up 33.3 points per game, which ranks 99th in the country. The team has been led this season by running back Chris Polk, who has rushed for 1,341 yards and 11 TD’s.
In terms of Injuries, Baylor defensive backs Demetri Goodson and Chance Casey are both doubtful to play due to ankle injuries while Washington safety Will Shamburger is doubtful with a neck issue.
